Wanganui is extremely fortunate to have a number of strong agecnies supporting our community.
These organisations are often run on limited funding and exist purely to give local people a better quality of life. Wanganui also has a number of volunteer organisations sho also support the comunity.
Agencies include: FSS, LWV, YS, Te Oranganui Iwi Health Authority

Wanganui is also fortunate to have two very strong charitable trusts, whose financial contributions allow many of Wanganuis new projects to proceed through thier contributions. Both organisations annually give in excess of $1 million each to a wide variety of local activities.
